Legal and process requirements for joining the Perseus Scheme
Join the Core Trust Framework
The Core Trust Framework Agreement sets out the general terms for the Core Trust Framework and is the enabling agreement for using trust services (including the Sandbox) and joining schemes within that Trust Framework.

Review the Perseus Agreement
The Perseus Scheme Agreement must be executed in order to access production trust services and be able to process live data under the scheme. Early review is recommended so that queries may be resolved while technical work is undertaken.
Beyond “Perseus-Ready” - considerations for production
Sign the Perseus Scheme Agreement
The Perseus Scheme Agreement must be executed before your application can be deployed in the production Trust Framework environment. Completing the Perseus Ready process in full ensures that your organization is prepared to sign the agreement as soon as you are commercially ready to launch your service.
Choose and contract with an EDP
You should choose an EDP, which implements the Energy Consumption Data API, and configure your application to use it.
Perseus standardises everything about an EDP except for the commercial terms on pricing and payment. You should choose one or more EDPs who offer commercial terms that meet your needs. If you need to change EDPs, you will need to ask your users to identify themselves with the new EDP, so you should assess the long term availability of the service offered.
